Our People

The people that make up our membership and those who commit their time are what makes South Staffs Green Party Great. Many of our active members also have roles as councillors and everyone plays a vital part when it comes to getting greens elected. You can meet some of our activists below.

Gary Burnett and Fiona Hopkins are our two Green District Councillors here in South Staffordshire. Gary was elected for a second term in 2023, with Fiona joining him and winning by a comfortable margin to represent Bilbrook. They both also sit on Bilbrook Parish Council. Gary and Fiona are both incredible voices for change on the council, making waves and holding the council to account.
